The Nil-Pride Gnome Hillside Home
The Nil-Pride Gnome hillside home,
He built it out of styrofoam,
A white so bright it shines like chrome,
Erected in the hillside loam.
The Nil-Pride Gnome is old and frail,
He won’t be found along the trail,
He built it to his body’s scale,
He looks like a mole with no tail.
He’s peaceful now and will not fight,
He’s geriatric and contrite,
But when he’s not asleep at night,
He loans his home to test your might.
The Never-Shove Leather Glove
The never-shove leather glove,
Will not give anyone a shove,
Made from the skin of a white dove,
It just wants a hand, peace, and love.
It’s small and fitted for a sprite,
Even still it fits a bit tight,
Not something you want in a fight,
Fits only your hand on your right.
Made for The Have-a-Fear Cavalier,
A serendipitous pair, it’s clear,
A warrior that is full of fear,
And a glove that will not wield a spear.
The Compliant Giant
The compliant giant,
The inverse of defiant,
He is simply a client,
To whom he is reliant.
He does what he is told,
And cares nothing for gold.
He’s resistant to cold,
And not yet very old.
Owned by The Ever-Bored Nether Lord,
His leash is made of strong leather cord,
He gardens several types of gourd,
Down at The Filed-and-Stored Highland Fjord.
The Thing King
The Thing King,
Not ever focused on thinking,
Distracted by The Ring of Bling,
It’s always some kind of new thing.
Meanwhile, his kingdom will suffer and rot,
The poor can’t afford to pee in a pot.
There’s not a trinket that he hasn’t bought,
If only he could have a useful thought.
The people are tired of him on the throne,
They just want their meat to include the bone,
And an affordable plan for their phone,
It’s no wonder that he feels so alone.
The Riff-Raff Giraffe
The Riff-Raff Giraffe,
Known for The Autographed Quarterstaff,
He’s actually carnival staff,
And has dry humor that makes you laugh.
He’s spotted brown and stands quite tall,
His care for others is quite small,
He’ll dunk on you in basketball,
And peek at you o’er any wall.
He’s gruff and rude and is not nice,
His ride has a very high price,
But when it comes to little mice,
He often lets them ride it twice.
