I’ve been researching how much of the internet at large is bots/alts. Also, researching how much accounts with impressive growth rates (on other sites, I would immediately find a bot on here) rely on empty accounts/suspicious ones that only serve to like/repost their stuff. It ISN’T good news! Turns out, doing it the right way is rare. No regrets from me.

They're over half of all internet traffic now. Apparently Facebook alone removes BILLIONS per year!

Bots are not the friends Younger Me thought they'd be while reading Asimov and watching Star Trek. And algorithms don't like me because I have no patience with their games. I greatly value the community we have here instead of Typical Social Media Stuff.

Hopefully you can continue to detect them all as they grow with the popularity of the site. It is a great place to write and receive feedback in a positive way. It is still a friendly site and hope it continues to grow for everyone but also stays community based.
