I've spent 16 days caring for a lotus seed that might not make it. I went to change the water today, and the whole shoot just slid out of the seed! It didn't break. Just slid out. So I put in back in the seed. I doubt that's going to work. But at least my snake isn't dead! I thought he was for a minute. He was laying weird and didn't move when I opened the tank. I could feel the wave of doom flowing through my body. Then he turned his head a little and flicked his tongue at me.
