Scrolling back through my scribbles, I don't think I ever showed y'all who Ted got his name from. The aquatic garden plants got the names Bill, Ted, and Rufus because Ted was taken as a cutting from Keanu Leaves.

I have a character floating around in my head, Dr. Regan Quinn, who is either a 1930’s two-fisted pulp hero OR the protagonist in a series of cozy British Murder Mysteries, and your scribble reminds me of her. She’s a field botanist for the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, and her flat is filled to the brim with plants she’s named after various Shakespeare characters.
