I'll admit, I haven't experienced writers block that lasted more than just a few days, but even when that does happen, I tend to take an old, unfinished writing , and see if it has a logical "next step" to the story so I'm not using the creative juices I'm lacking. I also will scroll through pinterest, seek out prompts that I would find interesting, and look for inspiration in music, feelings, or emotion. I also also have a very creative friend and bf that are pretty helpful at getting me out of writing slumps. Even when all of that fails, sometimes, you just have to push yourself to write something, even if its like barely 100 words

I’ve gone through periods of having trouble writing. I think of it as a time to rest and experience life so I can come back to the page with a fresh perspective and new material. Sometimes when I want to write, but I’m in a slump, I take inspiration from articles or prompts.

I went through a period of a few years where I didn’t write for fun in light of grad school. What finally got me back to it was when I read a book that really caught me. Your mileage may vary, but try returning to something you’ve read before and liked, or, heck, try reading a new book. Holly of all things by Stephen King got me back into writing poetry lol.

yeah!! you're right, reading books is such a nice way to snap you back and get you writing!! mostly my creator's block is while writing music!! I always manage to come back while I have no idea what to write if it's an article or poetry!! I hope I'll come back and thanks a lot for your comment!!
