I like it! I think embracing on its own line really works. It could be interesting to put a line break after lost with ensnared on its own line too, so it’s symmetrically emphasizing ensnared and embracing. I’m excited to read the final poem!

I could share. I'm actually getting kind of attached to this piece as well. “Green–the color of sage, England, and very. He was a well-dressed man and had the money for it. His hair was always slicked back, unlike his brother’s always raggedy mop.” Moriel closed his eyes, picturing the man’s face. His hand ran through his own black hair very gently, getting caught in a couple of tangles.
