For everything, down to the scribbles.
For everything, down to the scribbles.
O April is the month for verse, and not by chance or happenstance, this month we render language weight, and give our voice a place to dance. ▪◽▪ A guild of poets made the call, in ninety-six they set the stage, to show that verse still holds its place, and lives beyond the printed page. ▪◽▪ Not kept for halls or scholars few, but opened wide for all to write, for those who love the written word, and need to set their thoughts alight. ▪◽▪ So take a line and write it down, no need for polish, praise, or show, unlock the words that linger close, to give them wings, and voice to grow. 🦋 ▪◽▪ April is National Poetry Month, a time set aside to remind us that poetry still has a place here, not tucked away in classrooms or collections, but in everyday moments and ordinary voices. It was established in 1996 by the Academy of American Poets to celebrate poets, encourage reading and writing, and keep the art form alive and accessible.
