Since Mom died earlier this month, I have been right back in the rabbit hole of ancestry research. I drift in and out of it over time. But I have been drawn back into some old family mysteries that, sadly, I never did solve before Mom died. And she was as intrigued by them as I am. Did my great-grandmother possibly have a role in my great-grandfather's mysterious death? And who was her second husband who her kids never liked? What did my mom's father do in WWII? And what abut his first wife - the daughter of a high priestess in a Wiccan coven? Did grandpa know he had a son with his first wife? And why did they divorce? I still have so many questions. Would anyone be interested in reading stories about it all as I dive into research once more?

It is all incredibly intriguing! I am looking into finding my grandfather's WWII records - unfortunately not many are public as so much from that period in the UK (he was from England and came to Canada after the war) is still classified.
