I recently finished Ocean Vuong's On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous.

ooh!! what kind of novel is that? was it good?

it's a story about a son writing to his mother, poetically written. I enjoyed it very much.

poetically?? I am so interested now!! thanks a lot for sharing!! I am so glad you enjoyed it!!

Hamster in a Handbasket... i was reading to elementary school kids lol. Now we're reading James and the Giant Peach

I'm currently reading Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad

how is it so far?? what genre is that??

It's great! Though I admit some metaphors are difficult to grasp and need careful reading. The book is a critique of imperialism and based on colonial literature and modernism.

really?? you will get a hang of it, I am sure!! off topic but do you like fast ones that jump to the main story faster or slow burn?? I am actually the kind of person who like fast ones and is interesting, I just really didn't like Harry Potter for that reason as it is very slow!!
Haven’t finished yet, but I am currently reading the Secret History by Donna Tart

yeah!! tell me about it once you finish!!

I haven't read it!! but for sure, would love to hear your experience and get inspired to read it!! I am not kidding!! I definitely want to hear about it!!

House of hollow by Krystal Sutherland. Phenomenal read
