So, my ex ended up in the ER again from severe pain, and they did a CT scan, shot her up with four units of morphine, and then sent her home. Had to take the bus to drop off keys so she could take an uber home. I mean, I guess that was SOME kind of care....[[|:-\

Sorry to hear this, Chris! Is it her migraines? Bc if I'm unable to get out of a migraine bender, I also need to go to the ER for shots—dilaudid is my prescription for these cases though. Hope all is well 💜
She had a hernia removed, then it got infected, and so they hooked up a vacuum to the site, and then she was having severe pain. I'm just concerned that they didn't look hard enough. The health care around here has become lackluster, and I know this last visit could've been avoided. It's just so frustrating, and I'm struggling hard right now. Having someone need to rely on me is just too much right now....[[|:-\

Can definitely relate, my husband had a stroke out of the fucking blue (he was healthy/athletic) when he was 42, almost 4yrs ago now. He's since recovered, but of course, with residual weakness on the side that was initially paralyzed. I was fortunate to be able to pivot from business/work to being his full-time caregiver then, but it was a lot. Hope things get better. Sending positive energy your way ✨️
Thank you. Glad to hear he got through it. She's still recovering from heart surgery too....[[|:-)

Oh my goodness, hoping for a better recovery experience for her and all of you guys! And thank you, the husband was only able to recover quickly bc he went gung ho on his PT/OT. Otherwise he would've been wheelchair-bound probably. Illness/recovery affects everyone around the patient for sure, hope you take care of yourself too.
