Would this count as a submission? Delivery It might have been the measured politeness in his voice. The shades covering his eyes which didn’t hide the speed at which he had scanned me, my doorway and the neighbour passing by. It was maybe the strength of his arms as he carried all ten bags in one hand while holding that little digital thing you have to sign with the other. Or the way he’d recognised the type of house fragrance that slow-wafted out of my hallway. I should have let it go. But when he turned back instead of leaving the building. I grabbed my gun and followed him. The rule has always been just one assassin per building.
Of course, this is perfect, flash fiction that makes you think about how they got there and what happens next.
If you would like to submit to a magazine, firstly, choose a magazine and join it. Then write a post and instead of posting it push the button next to post and choose the magazine you have written for and submit your writing. Hope to see your stories in the micro fiction club
I was into a short season of trying short fiction. Found it quite fun. Might try to think of something.
Short fiction is a great escape when you get ten minutes of you time and your journal to come up with what just might be the plot to a new longer story.
