Ever since I published Salt and Ice, I've felt this weird “time is running out” feeling towards publishing the next book. Maybe it's because I consume a lot (and I mean A LOT) of writing podcasts where people are frequently writing a book a month or publishing every three months. Whatever the reason, I do not like this feeling! I am transitioning from writing a stand alone modern day sports drama to a kind of science fantasy five book series. I'm going to have to start over with my branding anyway so who cares how long it takes? Now if only I could get my FOMO brain to agree with me.
