Okay, just loved that Sweeney Todd option, but NO, I don't think you should edit while tipsy. I agree with the apocryphal Hemingway line "Write drunk, edit sober".

I have to admit that I cannot, for the life of me, write drunk. So I do the other way around since a girl must drink at some point, mustn't she? But jokes aside, no manuscript has been maimed beyond recognition. Some sentences just had to go. 💁🏻‍♀️
