Anyone else go from plotting everything to just writing and seeing what happens but constantly trying to course correct yourself with plot notes here and there, only for those to go out the window once you actually write?

All the stories I write is me just going with the flow, I feel its a lot more interesting that way, because you tell a story to yourself before you tell others.

I always have a rough plot in mind when i pick up a writing book, once I start writing though, I usually surprise myself as that is not what I thought would happen next or where they would end up.
