OHMIGOSH THIS I craveee the stories that are dark, depressing… but my favorite of those same stories have hope, wholesomeness… I want stories (personally) that showcase both sides of this messy experience with the same careful craftsmanship. I feel they make each other richer "But why must we only show realism through the lens of the worst parts of life? Why is everything a cynical deconstruction? Where are Frodo and Sam, promising to keep going together, no matter what?"
