I'm not a harsh judge but if the piece is prose and has multiple bullet-points that not only makes me think so called "AI" but also just lazy layout. Em dashes have been around forever, I use them instead of a dozen commas in a sentence I don't know how to break up.

I agree with the sentiment. I'm not a big fan of the witch hunt, to be honest. People now judge pieces through vibes only and not hard evidence that this is AI. Even the AI detectors are faulty. I use em dashes. I don't use AI to write my stuff for me. I don't believe in the so-called "telltale" signs of AI. It's just vibe checks, nothing scientific.
