Wrizzit
For everything, down to the scribbles.
For everything, down to the scribbles.
A thought on the whole "Wrizzit is the new Substack" thing: I closed my Substack last year. When they added Notes, it was a little overwhelming for me. I mostly ignored it and just kept writing my newsletter, but things kept growing and it felt like I wasn't really "on Substack" if I wasn't using Substack as "the new Twitter". And there was the fact that they had no problem with making money from subscriptions to Nazi newsletters. That was the real reason I left. I was on Twitter when it was new. Before hashtags or RT button. Before Oprah signed up. You were "really active" if you tweeted twice a week. I've never been on X. I gave things a couple of months when Twitter was bought, saw where it was headed, and left. I've moved a lot on the Internet over the years. AOL chat, Yahoo! chat, Yahoo! groups, MySpace, LJ, tumblr, IG before and after FB bought it, forums, email lists... We don't say two people are the same because they both have human bodies.I hope Wrizzit will be Wrizzit.
