I'm getting comfortable here very fast. That's a little scary. It rarely happens, and almost always comes before a big shift that suddenly makes me feel like I was an idiot for thinking I could be comfortable in a place with other people. But I see other people here who have similar social history, and maybe this can be a place for us.

I think it's natural to feel nervous, especially on the heels of Substack and all that BS. But I believe in this place and its potential. I believe in us as a thriving community.
