@noh @gilnobodi what are the stance points on Wrizzit when it comes to hate speech, threatening, and otherwise deplorable people? I’ve rarely encountered it on Substack. However, with a lot of posts talking about the problem among my friends, I decided I’d find the problem. Unfortunately Substack has a history of not enforcing its own ToS.

There is a report feature on profiles and on messages if you believe some content is in violation. Wrizzit is still very new and as a community, we should use best judgements on reporting things where we see it. www.wrizzit.com/terms

Again, report features are well and good, but SubStack and places like it refuse to actually enforce these things. Words without action aren’t work a damn.
Again, if you have something specific to report, you can do so. I havent seen any such events on Wrizzit. If I do, Ill report it and have full confidence it will be handled by the devs. The fact they are so involved with feature requests and the community itself in writing posts and digests, leads me to believe they will be equally involved with reporting.

You are not following my line of questioning whatsoever. I am asking how involved they would be in a ToS violation. Period. I’m not putting an example because it has nothing to do with it. @light please do not contact me again. I never asked for your opinion, and the effect you’ve had has only left me with distaste. I asked 2 people a question. You were NOT among them.
Heard, apologies for upsetting you. As its a community, you asked in public forum, I answered as part of the community. I wont reply anymore. Have a great day. 👍
It's in the TOS that any profile can be deleted or banned for any reason. That's how the site will stay protected from Hate speech, threatening, bullying and bigotry. Report anything suspicious you see.

Not to be that guy, but SubStack has plenty of ToS language, they instead choose not to enforce it.
Part of my move to this platform was knowing at least one of the devs stood up for people when Substack failed to do just that. I watched it play out because that was 100% what made me a wary Substack user. And now I'll shut up because I don't want to speak for anybody. Just speaking to what I saw. 🖤

I dunno what fail you are talking about. They fail of a ToS violation that needs dealing with several times an hour.
It was about bigots and I don’t really feel like rehashing it to be honest (still upsetting and I don’t think helps here). I understand your concern but it doesn’t seem 100% fair to ask someone to prove a reaction to an event that we haven’t seen happen yet (unless you have an idea and we put it in the suggestion box?). All I can provide is knowledge that they said something and stood on business when other people didn’t. And then they built this site, aha.

I’m not asking for proof. The devs here are great. I’m hoping they’ll stay that way. Or have a goal to do so. If you are going to start an argument with basis in another event, then explaining it is expected. You can’t expect anyone to take your work in said event if you are unwilling to do more than point at a cloud without distinction.
I dont read it as an argument. Rather one event of many they experienced and dont want to rehash. If youd like details, dm me and i can share the examples from substack. As such an event hasn't happened on Wrizzit, we can only draw conclusion from what we can see. The devs are highly involved with the community and I have trust theyll also be equally involved with the reporting aspect too. Many users are on Wrizzit because they are enjoying the budding, involved, community.
