this is really worrying and also one of my reasons for looking for an alternative!

I wanted writers to have community features with cool presets so they had to do as little work as possible to curate and release awesome stuff together. Also, I wanted a way to get a lot of contributing members for introverts, hence the invite member thing in Digests. :)

I'm yet to try the digests myself but I find this idea wonderful!

While I certainly believe things like politics have an important place in art and literature, it's also becoming difficult for me to focus on writing on platforms where there's more and more just being angry about the world. And that's fair! I wouldn't tell people to shut up! But it's also good to have a place where writing is the main focus.

Yes, I understand. It's important to stay informed but also important to have time away from all of it to stay sane. I hope we'll find a good balance and can build safe spaces too.
