Can we choose to display a badge that is not active anymore? Because otherwise when they are not active, I can't choose to display them and they automatically get removed because of which we might have to change it daily

Not active just means not displayed. You can display any badge you've ever received before.

It's only showing me that I can display "whimsical" or "great poet" though?
