Wrizzit
For everything, down to the scribbles.

When I got on Substack a mere couple weeks ago, not knowing the ropes, so to speak, I started out posting one old poem, another, another, but then got the impression it wasn't like a blog, better to back off, set up a weekly schedule; okay, whatever the protocol is; but then I become more familiar with the purpose of the notes, and you gotta think of something clever, witty, meaningful, catchy, profound, etc, to post in the notes, multiple times a day; which are all going to go into the void, possibly never to be seen for months. Same with whatever you post as poetry, story, essay, apparently even music or whatnot. Apparently Wrizzit started up only a couple days ago? To me, so far, this is looking more like what my imagination designed how the substack experience would be, as in, a basic idea of reading and maybe being read.

I had a much better time on substack once I stopped trying to use it like intended :) I just posted my little poems and shitposted in the notes and collected a handful of writer friends :) none of them have followed me to wrizzit tho 😞
Use both! They both have feeds but the functionality and purpose is pretty different. I don't do any sort of email lists, but Substack doesn't have a digest option for creating community prompts or events.
Oh yes, that seems to be the ticket. I will confess being a bit in the dark about digests, etc.
