I do the same thing. Before 2023, I wrote a lot of my poems in my Notes app but I switched back to journals and haven't gone back since. I am currently on my fourth poetry journal!

I used to write everything down on a journal on the way to college, in the subway. From people watching, ideas, characters... Writing by hand is so calming

Perhaps it is! I do still journal, but hardly daily with work stress. I should put aside 20 minutes mid-work for that, actually. You're right!

Oof, we do not support work stress! Journalling could be a good decompress method from work stress! I always put aside 5 minutes before going to bed for journalling if I haven’t been able to journal earlier throughout the day!
