Confession: I secretly bought 4 books when I should've been revising. I only ever buy one book and rarely, but I bought 4, in secret and I'm still proud (lame, I know). Has anyone read these or have any opinion on them?

I have read The Jasad heir and it is so so SOOO good, I'm bad at explanations but I will say it's a worthy purchase
I actually bought it because it was based in the Middle East and because of one line that the LI said. Something about he only answers to Sylvia? That was the dealbreaker for me and why I got it.

oh yesssss I also loved the setting, I remember the scene you're talking about and I enjoyed every part of it but it only happens in the second book (I hope this doesn't discourage you)
One Dark Window had me in a chokehold! I haven’t picked up another for fear that nothing will top that duology.
Now I'm scared. It sounds cool and I can already tell it'll top the other books I have.
I was scrolling through Pinterest about the book and saw something about cards? Now I'm excited because I have pics of all the cards which I plan to print out soon after I read it.
OMG - I’d love to see pictures of the cards! They’re very prominent and play into the magic system!
