Wrapping Wrizzit
You’ve exported your Wrizzit data, now what?

Hello all my fellow wrizzers. I am here to remind you to backup your data regularly. Under the Wrizzit settings, you can download all your posts and scribbles for safe-keeping. “Yeah, but,” you might ask, “what can I do with my exported data?”
When I’m not busy writing hilarious poetry, I am (or at least was) a software engineer. So, naturally I wrote an FREE app that will read in your exported data and create a standalone blog , so you can at view it on your PC. To keep it up to date, export and rebuild often. I did something similar for Substack exports.
“Not good enough,” you say. “I want to mirror my Wrizzit blog on my own web server for double the exposure.” Done.
The linked article will demonstrate not only how to build your Wrizzit blog as a database for online hosting, but it will also explain in detail how to obtain and setup a free web server. No configuration or programming is required. Now you have no excuse not to have an author’s website.

Here are some sample images from my demo site, which is just a mirror of my Wrizzit blog. Go there are poke around. All Scribbles have been added to an unindexed page, accessible through the dropdown menu.
Not everything is currently included in the export file. I’ll update the app when the Wrizzit development team adds additional features.
