Where am I?

Slowly, he opened his eyes. It was completely dark, the wind was blowing at a gale force and the rain nipped as it hit his face. It was a confusing few moments as Fraser tried to think where he was and how he got there.
The rain and wind circling around combined with the darkness did not help his confusion. “oh my head” Fraser tried to sit up and an excruciating pain shot up his left arm, and his legs felt like they were on fire. Fraser rested his head back down slowly and started to breathe deeply and exhale slowly to try and meditate some of the pain.
Thoughts of before started to flash through his mind, ‘putting his hiking boots on in the car park’ ‘looking up at the hills’, ‘walking along a path’, then nothing. Fraser felt around his pockets that were accessible, trying to be as gentle as he could. There was no phone, all he could feel was a pocket knife, car keys and a lighter.
“Ahhhhhh” Fraser screamed as he slowly adjusted himself on the stony ground. “Where am I?” His mind began to race, had he fallen far or tripped? was he in danger? on a cliff edge? was anyone looking for him and why did he not feel cold? Lying in the dark on a windy, rainy hillside, he should be freezing but he wasn’t, he was burning hot. His back pack was still on his back but there was no way of getting access to it due to the pain.
‘I have to stay awake I must stay awake! he chanted through clenched teeth. If I can just make it until sunrise’ thought Fraser, ‘ it will hopefully only be a couple of hours and I can work out where I am’. “I need to stay awake, I must stayyyyy ” Slowly his eyelids closed, opened and closed again before he drifted off.
