Waves of Words

open with, "Remember the time this

other thing happened?" It all falls flat

without something attached. The message resists. 

Life cannot be wrapped in a handful

of words, and fewer take time to listen now. 

Keeping it short keeps things peaceful, 

but we lose what bonds us, somehow. 

It can't all be ten words or less. 

Tell your tales however they must be told! 

Let your river of thoughts make a mess! 

Truth does not need to be controlled. 

Let that river lead me to waves of a sea

where I can find solace in the story of Me.
