Viscosity

I

want

to be as

viscous as the

amber syrup in its

roll down the plastic slope,

but here I must plug up the

car, attend to the broccoli

as a sink of water.

I took inspiration for today’s poem, even though I didn’t include the word ‘honey’ itself, from Laura Catanzano’s prompt word for today:
