The lost traveler
Apr 1, 2026 · 1 min read
I venture the great unknown
to find meaning in a life uncertain.
For I am a traveler in the dark;
someone who has lost their spark.
To the skies, I look to borrow
the many specks of glittering light.
Thinking I might be rid of sorrow
and my world might once again turn bright.
The stars hear my whisper
and give a wonderful show.
They present a shower of color
that somehow makes me feel at home.
The parade of starlight ends,
the skies are once again dark.
I am still a lost traveler,
but hope fills my heart.

This flows so well and I love the imagery of darkness and light comparing to being with and without "a spark"
