Vale stood at the place where the dead body of Evan was.
“Hmm, so you are Valerius?” The woman called Amanda talked to Valerius. “You are not half bad at fighting.”
“....”
“Most importantly, you have guts.” Amanda said.
“....”
As Vale's hand stopped bleeding because of Everina healing. He stood there without any particular expression on his face lost in his own thoughts.
“Vale.”
“Vale.”. X3
“Slap”
“Huh?”
As Vale came back to his senses. He found Seraphina and others calling him yet he was so busy thinking about his previous life choices that he could barely answer.
“Serap-
“Vale me being with you doesn't cause any harm to me. I am a princess, my existence itself causes harm to me. So, if that's the case I will be more happy to face any problems with you than alone.
“Seraph.”
Vale kindly called out her name and was moving towards her and just before reaching her.
“Vale tomorrow morning after meeting lord Heron, come meet me. We will go training. Is that clear?”

“What about our date?” X2
“The training is more important for the time being, go there some other time.”
“Understood?”
“Oii Vale.”
“Ye..Yes.” Vale said slightly sad with the outcome of missing out on his date with Seraph.
As the sun rises the next day.
Valerius woke up and got ready to meet with Seraphina’s father.
While he was getting ready to leave the medical facilities. Everina entered the room.
“You are up early Valerius.”
“Yes miss Everina.”
“Any particular reason for it?”
“Yes I have to go and meet with Mr Heron.”
“Hmm, good luck Valerius.”
“Thank you miss Everina.”
“How is your arm doing now?”
“It’s better than before.”
“Can you let me take a look?”
“Yes, miss Everina. Do you know swordsmanship?”
“Somewhat.”
“So, what is your swordsmanship title?”
“My swordsmanship title? its grandmaster.”
“Here, your hands and feet are all fine now. I am surprised your hand and feet healed so quickly you didn't even need healing magic to the extent it is required for patients with that kind of injury.”
“Do you have any idea why that is?”
“No, but maybe if I research it I can get to know it better.”

“Saying that Vale leaves the room and walks towards the exit of the building.”

Thinking that Vale started walking again, as he took an exit out of the medical facilities.
He came across several buildings. The architecture of these buildings looked unique, something he had never seen before.
As he kept walking he came across a temple that looked like an eastern temple so he decided to enter it.
On making his way inside the temple, he noticed it was completely empty.
On walking further inside he saw a woman fainted inside the temple. Seeing that woman fainted, Vale decided to leave, suddenly the woman called out to him from behind.
“Wait! Why would you not help an unknown woman who has fainted?”
“I am leaving.”
“Wait, Wait you are that human who saved princess Seraphina right?”
“The tsundere handsome bastard?”
“I am not tsundere and I am leaving.”
“So you are indeed that human who saved princess Seraphina.”
“Yeah, I saved Seraphina.” Vale said and continued further, “ Also, why are you ignoring the other part of the sentence.”
“Human, what is your name?”
“It’s Valerius.”
"A nice name. My name is Glycina.”
“Well, then I will be taking my leave.”
“No, wait. Please wait, listen to meeeeeee.”
“What is it, unknown woman?”
“You want some help, right?”
“How do you know that?”
“Hehe, it's my special magic. It lets me discern whether someone is troubled or not.”
“Interesting magic.”
“So,do you need help?”
“What do you want in return for helping me?”
“I don't need anything from you, I am just a priestess who wants to help people.”
“Then I won't be giving you something in return.”
“WAIT, NO! I want something in return.”
“Are you really a priestess?”
“Yes, I am the one and only priestess of this town.”
“Unfortunate.”

“So, what do you want in return for helping me, Miss unknown woman?”
“It's simple, I want enough gold coins with which I can spend my life lazing-.”
“I am leaving.”
“NO WAIT! 1000 gold coins will suffice.”
“No.”
“Then how about 100 or 10?”
“No.”
“Then, how about one gold coin?”
“I don't have any money to give you.”

“Yeah.”
“But you still saved princess Seraphina, so you will get some reward from lord Heron. So how about you give me one coin in exchange for me helping you?”
“Why don't you just do your job competently and you will earn money?”
“I don't want to work. Even if I work diligently nobody comes here anymore.”

I tried again and again to make things better to improve the situation that I am in currently but nothing seems to work, so I have given up.
Anyways I made the atmosphere heavy with my stupid talk again.”

“I want to know the way to Mr Heron's office.”
“I understand. I will show you the way”
“Thank you very much, Glycina.”
“Please, can you greet lord Heron for me?”
After getting the way to Mr Heron's office, Vale leaves the temple and starts walking towards his destination.
He walked for some time and eventually reached his destination.
“Good afternoon, Mr Heron.”
“Come Valerius.”
“Thank you very much Mr Heron.”
“Dont worry about that.”
“Mr Heron, about the talk that I wanted to have. Can I get an answer for it?
“We will get to it. First Valerius, do you want to fight that snake guy again?”
“Yes, I want to fight him again and kill him if possible.”
“I see then, you will be given an opportunity to fight him again.”
“Thank you very much.”
“Now, about the matter regarding you marrying Seraphina. I approve of it.”
“Please approve it-”
Vale started requesting but soon was astonished to hear Heron next words and Vale continued “WHAT? Are you serious?”
“Yeah, you can marry Seraphina.” Heron said, looking at Valerius with a kind face.
“I can't deny my daughter's first love and also if the first love is as kind as you. You also ended up losing your one arm because you tried to protect her. What else can a father want from the Man he is giving his daughter away to. Vale you are the perfect choice for the Marriage partner of Seraphia.”
“Thank you very much, Mr Heron.”
“But, there are some conditions that you must meet.”
“Conditions?”
“Yes.”. “I will state those conditions then. First, you will promise to never leave Seraphina ever in any circumstance, it is not to be permitted.”
“Second, you must reach the swordsmanship title of sword saint this month and you must discuss with me which sword style you will be learning.”
“Third, you will be staying behind with Seraphina and Everina and protect the prince ryk.”
Wait the first two conditions I can agree but the third condition why should I agree to that besides didn't you say that I will get to fight fang again?

When I was making my way here I came across a temple where I met a priestess.
Her name was Glycina. When I arrived there she was fainted in that temple.
I talked to Glycina but she didn't say anything more. Do you know anything about her?
“So you meet Glycina, it's a long story she has been shunned by the entire town except a select few individuals who actually care about her.”
“The rest of the people hate her.”
Heron had regret in his voice while saying that.
“They have stopped visiting
that temple and it is completely abandoned. Some people go there to feed her sometimes.”
“So can you do me a favor and send some food to her, everyday if possible?”
“Very well, I will listen to that request.”
“Thank you.”
“Start your swordsmanship training tomorrow.”
