The destined one

As both men readied themselves to again start fighting, Vale paused and asked a question.

"Can I take back my sword?" Vale questioned Fang and Fang had a dumbfounded look.

"Huh?" Fang was surprised and continued speaking "why should I let you?"

"Oi, old man you were saying something about the old clan head doing something. What was that?"

"You don't need to know. since you will be dying here."

Vale moved first. He quickly closed the distance between them and went for a left hook knowing it was coming Fang caught the hand with his hand and tried to strike back with a punch of his own as he was trying to punch him Vale caught his hand and now both men were in a deadlock. Vale again tried to break the deadlock he moved left to Fang while not letting go of his hand, when he came exactly besides Fang, he brought Fangs' hand towards his knees and-

"Crack"

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

"Vale broke the hinge joint of his hand."

"YOU MONSTER! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"

"Huh? I thought you would feel less pain from it, seeing how strong you are."

"DO STRONG PEOPLE NOT FEEL PAIN? ARE YOU GENUINELY SAYING THIS?"

"HAHAHAHAHA, anyways I will get back my swo-"

"WALL OF THORNS!"

"Huh? Magic? I thought he couldn't use magic, but he can."

While dodging the thorns that look to be made of stone Vale tries to make his way to his sword now that Fang has started using magic Vale must get back his sword.

"Aah-"

As he was making his way through. One of the thorns pierced his foot rendering him incapable of moving.

"GODDAMNIT" "I have to remove this thorn from my foot and get my swor-"

"Princess Seraphina! Princess Seraphina!"

"Where are you?"

"It looks like my father found out that I am missing and he has sent his underlings for my search."

"You are lucky princess Seraphina and also you as well Valerius. looks like help has come for you."

(Although it doesn't look like i can fight to and that to for many days)

(That Valerius using his stupidly strong power to break my elbow joint and it hurts so much)

"Oi, lets leave princess Seraphina here, Lets go back and what we wanted has anyways been completed, seeing princess and Valerius in this state and also seeing five dead snake people. They will understand what happened here and then no one can stop a war from happening again."

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

"You lowlife!"

As Vale spat out those words he nearly lost consciousness, he tried to stand up but his feet wore staggering partly because of the foot injury that he sustained and partly because of the after effects of the fight with Fang.

(It looks like I am not strong enough yet I have to get stronger.)

"Oi, old man, next time we meet I will be far stronger than I am and I will KILL YOU."

"I will definitely look forward to that time Valerius, until next time, a well sweet couple Seraphina and Valerius."

"Oi! stop it." as Vale called out to Fang. He listened quietly.

"Here" Vale threw some of his spit on the ground.

Fang looked at him curiously yet angrily.

"Have it" Vale said " That's the best achievement of your lif-"

Before vale could finish his sentence, Fang had tried to bring his hand back to his place forcefully.

"Boy, No Valerius next time we meet it will be a fight against a Man against Man remember it"

Vale had a happy smile on his face.

As Fang and his group left the place the underlings of Seraphina's father arrived

"Princess Seraphina!"

"What happened here? How did you get so injured?"

"I-"

"A human is nearby and he is heavily injured"

"Huh?"

"Human?"

"This deep in the forest?"

"Treat him as an enemy"

"There is a stone piercing his foot"

"Then its confirmed its the royal families stone magic"

"He is an enemy"

"He most likely attacked the princess and princess in self defense attacked him"

"No that's not it"

"Princess you must not speak"

"Wait as i sa-"

"There are also snake people nearby" one subordinate said and the other continued with "They are all killed"

"Snake people?" The guy thought to himself but said it aloud.

"I thought we had a peace treaty with them? Why would they attack the princess?" the guy thought.

"Is it possible they died defending the princess from this human? Kill that human."

"Yes sir!"

As the scorpion people were making their way towards Vale. Vale retrieved his sword somehow sensing that he might get into danger again he made it a priority to retrieve his sword back

he also heard their talk about killing him so he took a defensive posture

"LISTEN TO ME" Seraphina shouted.

"Princess?" Everyone looked at her dumbfoundingly.

"As I want to say he is not an enemy"

"He is not an enemy?".

"Yes he is my savior."

"Savior?"

"Yes he saved me from a snake man called Fang. These are all his subordinates that I killed but I was heavily injured during the battle and he came to my rescue although he is a tsundere."

"As I said I am not a tsundere."

"SHUT UP HUMAN." The guy who was apparently the captain shouted loudly.

"How dare you talk back to the princess!"

"Huh? What do you want punk?" Vale looked at him angrily and said in an irritated tone.

"You are just a dog with no bite and if you respect your princess so much why would you let her go alone in a forest like this?" Vale said.

"Thats-"

"Do you have no answer? You chihuahua."

"What did you call me, you bastard?"

"STOP, I am already tired from all the fighting that I was involved in I want to go back

can you both please stop fighting, this is an order." Seraphina shouted.

"YES PRINCESS!"

"I wont listen to your orders Seraphina"

"Listen Vale-"

"How- HOW DARE YOU NOT ADDRESS PRINCESS MORE POLITELY? This is it! I will kill you human!"

Saying that the scorpion captain tried to plunge directly into Vale. Vale simply moved right and put his non-injured foot there so as to let the scorpion captain trip and fall on his face.

"HAHAHAHAHA, looks like I was the correct Mr. Scorpion captain. You are all bark and no bite."

"YOU! I will KILL YOU HUMAN."

"Stop it you two."

As Vale tried to move away from the scorpion captain, Vale suddenly lost consciousness and fell there.

"Vale! Are you okay Vale?"
