Silence
Does the solidarity of silence outweigh
The loneliness of sound, I ask the universe
Yet the answer gently drowns in the stillness
Brandishing the chisel of free will
We render marble illusions from emptiness
A gallery of statues, fleeting as the breeze
Against the deaf silence of the void
Each choice carves the edges of our art
Etching the self's defiance against the quiet
Though we yearn for the source
We flee the silence that embraces us
Should the river fear becoming the ocean?
