Sorry, didn't get anything written to go with this. Focus is the celebration of freedom from so much programming I bought into over so many years (say around twenty). They used to say, "if it's too loud you're too old" and now I'm saying, "if it's too quiet you can turn the volume up."

Let's see about one more try at scribbling a better bio. After a number of years here and there on the internet, seeking environments for engagement, presentation, interaction, in the the usual suspects of general interest (writing, music, photography), I'd come to the point of being generally fed up with most of the internet. In more recent times I saw Substack spoken highly of and checked it out early-mid February 2026, but was quickly disillusioned. Saw this Wrizzit coming into the picture and I think it has much much promise. So I guess I'm parking here for a spell and see how it goes.
