prismatic iguanas
in which mario presents older stuff
You count seventeen sunning adult iguanas; four males and thirteen females. There are also a half dozen small mounds marking the location of egg clutches. The females currently sitting on the egg mounds briefly flash their muted, mottled brown skin with the lively color display their species is known for, momentarily change from a warm brown to a swirl of red and yellow; evidently a warning. They sniff the air and keep an eye on you but soon resume their normal skin tone. The others scarcely sniff in your direction and, evidently deciding you are not threats, return to their naps, except for one of the larger males. The feathers on his neck shine and ripple slightly as he waddles toward you. He stops at the fence and flashes you with a display of bright green, red, purple, pink, sky blue, and a deep yellow that reminds you of the sunflower pelicans. He opens his mouth and sticks out his tongue. He does not hiss, and instead seems to be staring at you expectantly.
i like playing old style role-playing games. i used to be more active on the rpg.net play-by-forum area, and i enjoyed that kind of collaborative story-telling.
