On Revision | Tori's Meditations
It's been too long since I did any studying for my uni course. Here's me trying to figure it out! <3

It has been far too long since I last meditated. So today, I sit at my desk, fountain pen in hand, hoping to revive this slumbering habit of mine.
In only five weeks, I will be starting my final exams for this semester at uni. However, it is beginning to make itself clear that I have not properly learned the content of my modules, and I have also neglected to do any studying while on spring break. I fear that, in my current state, I would be unable to score a passing grade in some modules.
For obvious reasons, this is a fact that I need to change. Passing these exams is crucial if I am to continue my studies in the next academic year. If I am unable to do so, I will be forced to resit these modules before being able to progress, which likely means being held back by a year (something I cannot afford to do).
So, that then raises the question of how I should go about doing my revision to maximise my chances of passing these exams.
I recently purchased a new noteboook, which I intended to turn into a complete compendium, containing all of the content for each module this semester. However, I am aware that I will be unable to complete this in time due to the scope of such a large undertaking. However, I would still like to make use of this notebook somehow.
I think one of the best approaches would be to do a slightly 'watered-down' or condensed version of this compendium. Instead of covering each topic in detail, it would likely be better for me to cover only the key points, skimming over any of the finer details. At the very least, this would allow me to gain all of the baseline knowledge needed to reach a passing grade.
Or perhaps, I should rely on a more traditional revision technique instead? Things like flashcards have worked for me in the past, so maybe it would be a better use of my time to review lecture materials and then create flashcards to test myself on.
I think I would like to try both alongside each other. These methods are not mutually exclusive, and there simply is not enough time left to test both methods individually. So, I will have to do both simultaneously. Hopefully, that will be good enough to get the passing grades I need.
