Once upon a time

On a clear night

I found something

Precious

Constellations and moons

Agreed it only happens

Once

In a lifetime

It was the best of times

And I had my fingers crossed

Wished at the stars

That they

Would forever align

It was the worst of times

When I found

stars aligned

In different galaxies

A phenomenon

So rare

invisible

To the naked eye

And that thing so precious

Slowly began to fade

Till it faded away

And after that

time moved

So fast

That forgot to take me

With it

So i was left

Reliving the past

You should never trust

The signs of the sky

One day I found the courage

To run

And chase the time

Maybe one day

I will

there’s still

a long way to go
