IRAN, WAR
Mayday, chaos, slay ops—
Bomb streets beneath can’t-sleep-elites—
Split seconds split ancient foundations
By nuclear murmurations—
Tears flood but mixed mud can’t wash
Caked blood off caskets in God’s breadbasket—
Fertile crescent rides riotous descent, tank
Treads collide with unbridled dissent—
Teeth eyes lips jumbling, rumbling in rapid rush
To pause total ruin for petty cease-fire hush—
White flags buried under skeleton slag
And boys’ boots march melted by Sun Tzu:
Vacuum sucking sound fiery hellbound
Metal members blasting wide, guns too;
Frail mementos fill silent screens
Amid violent screams and utter loss:
Girls’ school mortar grind missiles find
Soft target, soft hands now gutter-tossed—
Talking head suit tie strangle—
Better death undeserved—
War absurd tangle.
