I have come to believe
Excerpt from my novel in progress

‘I have come to believe that there is no such thing as true gain in life, for all that is earned, something too must be lost; as ink to this paper, the dark blots consume the novel page. Perhaps the Great Mother requires nothing from us other than balance, she forces us to be humbled by the violent ebbs and flows of life, coerced along by silent wedgings between worldly truths and self truths.
‘The only real Truth, it seems, is that Truth which exists within the shadows of the soul, that innate right and wrong written into our bones, that impulse from somewhere beyond ourselves. To find its true origins, however, would pull at the red string of Fates.’
The Tome of Paradise, Book Eighteen.
