I Don't Believe in Soulmates
But I might be the one in a fairy tale

I don't believe in a soulmate
That's a fictional topic
The same way fairies and elves are, but
There is a hint of reality in every fairy tale
A tale of two includes a man and a woman
A hero and a damsel, a knight and a princess
But this tale has no hero, no knight, no damsel, and no princess
There is no dragon to slay and no beast to change
This tale—and you know it's a tale
Because it starts with a vampire
A woman with raven-black hair and blue eyes
With a red dress and a smile, charming and sly
She knows this woman who uses magic
With purple skin and pink-silver hair
With pink eyes and a shadowing grey hood
She's mysterious and enchanting
Our first girl is pulled in immediately
She stumbles over her words
She can't help herself when she smiles
She's falling hard and falling fast
Our second girl is cool, calm, and collected
She keeps her expression relaxed
She holds on to composure
But she's falling for this vampire woman
Mind you, I don't believe it's true
But to make a long story short,
The chemistry between these two
Was something that—for a story—was so real
I reiterate it again and again
There's no such thing as soulmates
They're just as real as the fairy tales
But now I fear that maybe now,
I might be the one in a fairy tale

Really creative and different. Not what I expected at all. I dig the meta elements, too.
