CHAPTER 5
Sander Solly led the crew cautiously as he tried to remember the way to Ermile Tower. The woods looked peaceful in contrary to the world out there. The animals looked unaffected by any bombing or blast. The seasonal fruits really added smell to the forest, the thicket was so hard to walk through.
Sander bragged ‘Last time when I led a crew, the crew nearly fell off the Wardon Bridge but guess who saved them? it was me I pulled them up with all my strength’.
Chrise said ‘do you consider that bragging? so is that bridge in the way to Ermile Tower?’.
He said ‘yeah, but no worries, we’ll make it through. The bridge was reconstructed and looked so safe now’.
Everyone could sigh now, this guy was all talk he kept taking the wrong way. They finally reached the Vivid Forest, it was somehow where their island gets all their resources. But now they have depleted and we are the poorest of the poor. Ermile tower was so far, it is far from every island. It is somehow kept that way for safety reasons. The whole forest had sounds that were music to ears. The mystical green and the visible weathered rocks, the greenery was gratifying while under this adversity, the war had it’s significance because the Sun Scissors had made brilliant efforts to destruct our well constructed empire. But this time we didn’t hear of any attempts and people felt some ease. This unexpected situation is having us left with no backup, we are blindfolded about what’s forthcoming. We traversed through the forest beginning to find the way unfolding vividly, somehow the name fit it’s paths. It was somehow easier to know which way we went before. A ginormous rock, taller and fitter stood across in the far corner. It was old and had traces of being meddled with before, the way up was carved beforehand by someone. It wasn’t new it was rather so old.
Chrise insisted ‘we could get more clear picture of where we are going if we could get a look from way up there’.
Endemi said ‘I am scared of heights’.
Sander said ‘leave it to me’.
He kept his hand carefully and placed his leg on the rock. When he was way up, the view was crystal clear.
He yelled from above ‘the way is straight, if we walk stra........, yeah we will reach the water fall until there we are fine’.
Chrise said ‘no obstacles until then, how do we cross the waterfalls?’.
Endemi said ‘is there no other way to go there?’.
Sander said ‘nah...’.
Endemi grunted and said ‘let’s figure out on the way then, lets head start again’.
They helped Sander get down, he safely landed and they picked up the pace and walked while searching for the way across the waterfalls. They knew it was quite impossible to find a ladder as big and enough for crossing that huge tyrant water falls. From high up there, the whole path looked so small. But to be honest, walking it was racking them with pain. The path seemed to prolong and finally to their relief they could hear the water rushing down more clearly. It helped them calm down, they rested by putting their backs against different trees. The shade was literally the best here, it is a thick forest and the animal inhabitant is so much, it had so much alluring creatures, birds shun with vibrance. The sky looked pretty clear, the sun seemed super active today. The waterfall grew nearer and nearer as they stepped on the trodden black land, the greenery ahead seemed to call them. They just don’t know what horror was ahead of them, but to live the moment is all they could do now.
they stood across on the other side of the water fall. The water was punching down on the land carrying a significant amount of deposits. The water looked so beautiful, fulfilling to eye as they walked too much. But the whole problem is in crossing it, they haven’t figured out the way. Sander quickly thought up a plan.
He informed ‘this whole place a little bit dramatic to watch, but staring into this had made my brain work’.
Endemi said ‘going nuts was the only thing left, what the hell are you talking about?’.
He said ‘we could cross it by turning to the wall stack, it never crossed my mind that this place lies close to the Vivid Forest and I forget that this forest is controlled by The Ermile Tower, this forest is absolutely no one’s property and it belongs not to us or to any island’.
Melborn said ‘ask him to stop ranting, if this place isn’t of anyone’s, then how is it lying inside our island. How could you say that it doesn’t belong to us’.
Chrise said ‘this is the Vivid Forest, a similar and close in structure to Vandemelin Forest, the whole species of animals here could also be seen there. It is in center and is controlled by the Ermile Tower, not this’.
Endemi said ‘but if that’s the case, can we actually get into contact with the Ermile Tower if we get into the Vandemelin Forest’.
Chrise nodded affirmatively and declared ‘it is possible’.
Melborn said ‘If that’s the case, that forest is close from avenue park, we could go back and take that route and enter the forest’.
Hernuil broke his silence ‘there is actually an easy route to the forest, but it is kinda twisted and maybe the Sun Scissors have occupied the path, but we can always sneak inside. But it is going to be really hard if we go as such a big group, we might attract unnecessary problem by going as a bunch’.
Everyone was quite shocked and was really watching him talk amused. His face and the way he talked was none like before. It seemed to have grown more comfortable and not awkward.
Sander said ‘but you are asking us to lose people’.
Chrise said ‘we might have no other choice’.
They took the hard decision but the question was where will the left out people go back to?
IT’S ACTUALLY SHORT BUT I WROTE IT SO IT WOULD BE EASIER TO READ.
WHO DO YOU THINK WILL BE LEFT BEHIND? TAKE A GUESS
