Crimson Forest

Description: An unusual forest to the south of The Crater. It is one of the few locations discovered to have red flora. It is clearly related to the common bamboo found around Mistyat. Despite its color, it seems to be very much like regular bamboo. The color gives the entire area a serene, peaceful feeling. The stalks can reach 30m in length, making them exceptionally useful. However, there’s little reason to cut away here. The Bambi further north is just as robust, and clearly easily regrown. I’ve gathered a small amount of the bamboo stalks and leaves, so they they might be tested by the Academy alchemists.

This piece is set up as documentation filed by a Magician whose job is to locate new materials and log new species. Entries like this give us a look into his the Arcane Authority operates. Heavily Bureaucratic demands may seem frivolous, but it insures the knowledge is made available widely and quickly.

The setting of the "Crimson Forest” is a mystical scene infused with a striking red hue. The forest is lined with tall bamboo stalks stretching upwards, and the leaves and undergrowth are vivid red, creating an ethereal and magical atmosphere. Soft light filters through the canopy, casting a gentle glow throughout the scene. The overall mood is serene yet otherworldly, giving the impression of a hidden realm bathed in shades of crimson
