Bonjour Wrizzit, Au Revoir Substack
A new feminist corner to write, create, rage and rebuild.

Hello Wrizzit and Wrizzit users… it feels strange to be typing on this foreign platform. I’ve become so used to Substack and its interface that this feels both odd and a little sad. I’ve built a beautiful, cozy corner over there with intelligent and fiery feminists, and it’s made me fall in love with writing again.
But I’m also sick of the abuse that’s rampant on that site, abuse that Substack continues to ignore and allow. I’m looking at you, Chris Best, Hamish McKenzie, Jairaj Sethi, and everyone else running that company.
If you want to read in depth about the abuse I and other female writers have been subjected to (and are still being subjected to), you can read the open letter here:
https://open.substack.com/pub/lettersfromafeminist/p/an-open-letter-to-the-substack-team?r=6ejboe&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
And if you want to know how I’m doing in the aftermath of that letter and the action that followed, you can read this:

Now that you’ve read them… do you see why I and so many others are trying our hand at Wrizzit? It’s giving the same energy as when everyone fled to Bluesky because they’d had enough of Nazi Germany, sorry, I mean X. Until Substack sorts itself out, they’re going to see more and more of us migrate here.
I’m not abandoning my Substack entirely. I have a wonderful subscriber and follower base that I don’t want to leave behind, and I don’t know how many of them will migrate to Wrizzit. But am I going to be using Wrizzit and continuing to call Substack out until they get their act together? You bet.
So hello Wrizzit, hello fellow Substack migrants, and hello Wrizzit natives. I’m Write sober, edit sober, a trilingual writer and radfem who loves vignettes, short stories, and feminist essays, and I’m not going anywhere.
Nice to meet you all.
