Bad Bunny
A poem

On Wednesday morning I woke up to
a rabbit in my garden, said hello and
did not mean to barge in as frankly I
was feeling quite lethargic from the
night's before charity event where most
of the evening was spent making small talk
collectively we all gaffed and we gawked
at the keynote speakers remark about
their favorite type of fertilizer which acted
as a reminder that I needed to check my
garden the following morning
which brings us to then when I woke up
to a rabbit munching on my parsnips and
lettuce along with my bean sprouts and
carrot tops
this rabbit just would not stop the poor
thing must have been starving and somehow
found its way into my garden which has an
iron gate yet somehow they just got in
thinking about it though that makes sense
they are always hopping about in fields
and such but this cheeky rabbit devoured
my lunch without even considering its
potential pesticides
could not live with myself if I denied an
animal food ya know? my mates would
think I am such a bloke when that poor
rabbit could be eaten by a snake or ran
over by a distracted automobile
morbid to think about but it is important
that we all enrich ourselves with a delicious
meal even a rabbit who steals your harvest
would it be too far fetched to hope that
this rabbit and I form some kind of friendship?
you know maybe make the local news that would
be cool
"man befriends rabbit who eats his parsnips"
what a headline
my parents would not nip at me for that
their son being on television?
now that is quite a vision to think about
nevertheless I gave that rabbit a shout
that Wednesday morning and let it go
on with its day - hope it will come back
again tomorrow and we can do it all again
cause then ya know I got a story to tell
my parents and mates
