Autumn Leaves
A piano arrangement

Today has been so good, and it feels like a crime to not share it:
I finally wrangled inspiration and drafted my submission for the Nightingale "No Good Deed" (there's still five more days to submit, you can still submit too! https://www.wrizzit.com/digest/cmn36jxap000504jvc8v0gkoi)
I managed to full clean the room, build my desk, and finally solve the tricky data problem I've been dealing with over the last month
And (actually) relevant to this song I'm sharing - I was today years old when I realized Autumn Leaves' two melodies could be layered on top of each other! It's one of my favorite songs to mess around with, but I never thought of playing the two sections on top of each other before, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I hope you enjoy!
The chord progression and melody line came from Autumn Leaves, attributed here to Joseph Kosma, Johnny Mercer, and Jacques Prévert. My favorite version is probably Ryo Fukui's, but the original goes to Les Feuilles mortes.
