Another Lie (a poem)

You told me you wouldn’t lie anymore

Little did I know that was another lie

You make me want to lie from now on

Cause, when you lie, you get everything you want

I’ve been deprived for so long

I’ve been living off the smallest crumbs

All I want is your love

It’s the one thing I don’t get enough of

I don’t care if it’s toxic

I just want you honest

Maybe I have to lie to get your love

I’m willing to do it if I can get what I want
