A piece of my story being scrapped, so it's not done but enjoy anyway

‘So, you finally figured it out,’ Cypress sat upon the stone that loomed over the grave I crawled out of. Her voice was cold, despite the smile she sported.
‘Would’ve been a lot faster, had you just told us where you were.’ Antheas retorted. He was mad and swore a lot more than I’ll care to repeat.
I looked around, trying to ignore the memories that dragged my mind back to the dark, awful hole I died in.
‘Now, how could I be sure you wouldn’t call all of your little friends?’ She practically floated off the stone to stand in the moonlight. A skinny, pale woman with sharp bones that stuck out from her slim, black dress. ‘Moriel!’ She called my name and–again–floated towards me. ‘How have you been?’ Her hand reached for my face, probably to caress my cheek the same way she used to.
I wasn’t in the mood for pleasantries, nor the sadistic care she had for me. Cypress was the same height as me, though she often wore heels that made her appear much taller. She must have seen my disturbed expression because she kept her outstretched hand to herself and stopped her advance.
‘Fine, I see how it is,’ she grumbled and retreated to the gravestone-seat. ‘Nice claws,’ she added, referring to my rather new talons while admiring her own equally long, but infinitely sharper red fingernails.
My hands flexed as I spoke. ‘What’ll it take for you to cease your advances?’
‘Really, I’m just bored.’ She continued to admire her nails. ‘But that’s probably not the response you’re looking for. Hmm…’ She flicked her black hair over her shoulder and got up for the second time.
‘You’re right,’ Antheas growled at my side, ‘We’re looking for a real answer.’ Sparing him a glance, his fangs were bared in her direction like he was ready to fight. I couldn’t believe he was willing to go toe-to-toe against someone with the upper hand in every aspect.
‘Antheas.’ I placed a hand on his shoulder to calm him. He shrugged me off without so much as a glance.
‘Your friend’s ready to brawl,’ Cypress said with a taunting grin.

A sneaky peak at your story by way of the deleted scenes! It is certainly intriguing and I want to read more, has the full story been published yet?
