A life in hiding
A poem by Tori
I live a life in hiding,
They cannot see who I am.
My shell does not fit,
But it's a shell I cannot shed,
As they will hate me without it.
I know this fear is in my head,
But my head is like them too,
So I keep my life hidden instead.
I live a life online,
Though I know those friends aren't truly mine.
I just want you to give me a sign,
That my existence isn't a crime.
I live a life in hiding,
As they don't think its right,
For me to come out smiling,
So instead I hide out of sight.
