A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder
A Movie Review

The series is inspired by the book series A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder and I am one of those who saw the series before reading the books , so I had none of those expectations which everybody has after reading the books . I seemed to enjoy the series exceptionably and the characters thoroughly . The series revolves around this girl called Pip in Little Clinton , a small town in England , a girl who blamed herself for the probable murder of a girl called Andie Bell and a subsequent suicide by Sal Singh . She took to solve this mystery murder as her EPQ . She walked through multiple doors and tried to interview anyone and everyone who could have known , what had happened to the two of them . She was later joined by Sal’s brother Ravi and the two of them decided to work on the case together . She took dangerous turns , got her dog killed and almost got herself killed as well . But this isn’t what is important , important is to find out who was the real murderer , was it Andie’s own dad , the “Secret Older Guy” or was it Sal all along . That’s something you’ll only get to know after watching the series .
For me though this series was a solid 9.5/10 . Thriller with a bit of RomCom is my favourite genre and this fit perfectly into it . Apart from the backstories of the main characters , some other characters were also very interesting to watch , like Max Hastings , Naomi and Cara Ward , Ravi Singh etc. Some other plots which were interesting were that of Ravi and Pip , Pip and Cara , Pip’s family etc. Also something that I found very interesting was the actors , their acting made seem everything happening in the series possible in real life and anyways I like it when we have Emma Myers on the screen . It definitely is a good watch and it won’t bore you for even a second .
