11 Years Later - Hasee Toh Phasee

Hasee Toh Phasee was released almost 11 years ago and yet again I was late to watch it but the movie was a banger . It definitely had the old time movie kinda plot line thing but with a modern touch which made the movie really cute . If I had to define the movie in a word I would just say “ Cute “ cause it really was.

The plot line was as such that Nikhil and Karishma were gonna get married and were preparing for the same when came Karishma’s sister Meera, the one who had disappeared for years after stealing a lot of money from her father on the day of her elder sister’s wedding came back . Her sudden reappearance wasn’t appreciated by Karishma as she knew that like the last time , this time as well the only thing she would do is give her dad a heart attack . But Nikhil felt differently and tried his best to help her out and even invited her to his home to stay until Karishma lets her back in . If talked about Nikhil and Karishma , they had been dating for very long but their relationship was only based on basically breaking up almost every month and after him spending some time with Meera , he realised that this is what maybe a healthy relationship looks like and Meera had most definitely fallen in love with him and kept telling him to call off his wedding with Karisma and marry her .

But apart from the story line which doesn’t give all these characters a very good look ( ig that’s the good thing about this story because of how faulty all these characters really are ) , the movie is a great watch and really fun and I repeat cute . The end you can only figure out after watching the movie , so definitely do watch it and I would rate it a solid 8.5/10 .

Definitely a good watch and reminds you of the different perspectives of people viewing other people . Also the songs are great and so fun . Would love to get your opinion on it too , if you have seen it or you are gonna .
